This is the space you can use to clear out all the cobwebs. Sometimes we can't even remember what we ate for breakfast and much less what we did all week.

Everything big and small counts!

Look over your list in step 1 and think about the items that are currently part of your day that aren't serving you. What are some things on your list that have got to go? Cross out the items on your list in step 1 that you know you need to eliminate from your day in order to ensure that you're spending your time most effectively. For example, I realized I always started my day by staying in bed for a few too many minutes looking at social media and reading the news. This usually left me with less time to do other things like get a workout in and led to creating negative energy as I found I was more likely to compare myself to others. What challenges do you feel are in your life right now? What do you commit to stop doing?

Family, meals, home cleaning, relationship, exercise, health, time for personal projects/hobbies?

Want to reach out to someone? Need a break? Feel like stepping it up? Craving education? What things do you wish you had time for? Maybe you wish you had time to workout? Or maybe you would love to start your day slowly with some reading for fun and a hot cup of tea? Maybe you wish meditation were part of your daily routine? Whatever your wishes and wants are, go ahead and write out those things in the space below. Again, do not think too deeply about it—just write what comes to mind right away and try not to judge it.

Looking back at what you wrote for the previous question, what is hard about some of the new routines you want to implement? For example, I found that it was "hard" to reflect on my life and envision what I really want first thing in the morning. Even though I have always wanted to be the person who had full focus the moment I rolled out of bed, the reality for me was that I actually preferred a bit of a slower start. I wanted to write and journal with a hot cup of coffee first thing, even if just for a few minutes. Knowing this helped me understand when I could more realistically find the heardspace to fit it in.
